50 Cent Speaks on Oprah Winfrey of Only ‘Going After Black Men' Accused of Sexual Assault
American rapper “50 Cent” accused Oprah Winfrey of speaking out only against black men who have been charged with sexual assault.
The singer, whose real name is Curtis James Jackson III, shared with music executive Russell Simmons an old photo of the former television host.
The criticism comes on the heels of the announcement by Winfrey that she is going to produce a new documentary about the allegations of sexual misconduct against Simmons.
The Los Angeles Times reported that it stars Drew Dixon, a former music industry executive, who says Simmons had assaulted her while working on his label Def Jam Industry.
A name has not been announced, but after premiering at the Sundance Film Festival in January, it will air on Apple TV+.
Jackson believed that this film is evidence that she has an agenda toward black men, along with Winfrey's work on the Michael Jackson movie Finding Neverland.
I can’t understand why she’s after black men in the entertainment industry. No Harvey Weinstein, no Epstein, just Michael Jackson and Simmons from Russell. Jackson wrote on Instagram that this is really sad and hurtful.
